A second year university student studying Accountancy & Finance at the University of Huddersfield, looking for a work placement within the finance sector. With a keen interest in Forensic Accounting, I hope to go on to become a Chartered Accountant with ICAEW. I am on target to achieve a 2:1 or above. A confident, punctual and trustworthy individual, I am always willing to learn and possess a critical eye for attention to detail and problem solving. With excellent customer service skills and clear communication, both over the phone and in person, I believe that I will be a key team player, acting on my own initiative and always with a cheerful yet smart appearance. Physically fit and with an interest in sport, I am a winger for the Women’s Huddersfield Rugby Union sports club and enjoy cycling daily. I possess the ability to remain calm and cool in any stressful or difficult situation. I have good supportive teamwork skills developed further by my previous job as a Cashier at Coral Bookmakers. I am confident with using software packages such as Excel and Sage and different operating systems such as Mac and Windows. With a background in retail, I am very customer- focused and driven, able to work to tight deadlines whilst remaining calm and collected in any stressful or high-pressure situation.
