With 10+ years of experience in Data Science, Data Leadership, and Embedded Software Engineering, I serve as a Data Analytics Chapter Lead at ANZ Bank. In this role, I lead a team of data professionals to deliver end-to-end best-in-class data solutions (Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Data Analysis, Visualisation, and Pipeline Automation) to deliver value to the organisation. Additionally, I coach team members toward their career growth. I am passionate about talent development, collaboration, and innovation, and I have a PhD in Engineering and multiple certifications and honours in the data field such as GCP Cloud Digital Leader. I actively coach and mentor data professionals, graduates, and interns, facilitate Data Guilds, and contribute as a peer-reviewer for high-ranking ISI journals in AI & ML domain. Apart from the leadership activities, I enjoy being hands-on and working with various database technologies, such as Spark, Hadoop, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and GCP, and applying machine learning and statistical modelling techniques to generate insights and predictions.
