The Service Desk Technician’s job is, as the 1st tier support, to provide technical assistance to computer system users. It includes answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, or from remote location, all in professional and respectful manner.The scope of assistance is corresponding to the services offered by the ICT department. Among those are common services such as computer system set up, software installation, internet and email, printing and scanning and also more specific services such as video conferencing.Although complex and/or high priority problems are elevated to specialized support groups for resolution when needed, Service Desk Technician is responsible to ensure that an effective solution is provided to the use
