Beloved Brooklyn is a loving, open, supportive community based around celebrating the Jewish holidays and supporting each other through a Jewish lens. We base our gatherings in the wisdom and deep roots of our traditions and see how they can be interpreted to support us in our modern lives. We value mindfulness and greeting each Beloved just as they are. Beloved Brooklyn is now run by Laura Marder Thien, an Aleph Rabbinic student and mentee of the founder of Beloved, Rabbi Sara Luria. Amira Mintz-Morgenthau is the Program Director who using her years of experience in Jewish community programming to help Beloved flourish. Though Beloved is no longer in a permanent location, it serves as a warm Jewish home base for its participants.
