Summer InternLargo - Large Language Models Research Group May 2024 - PresentIiser KolkataWorked as part of the LLM research group under Dr. Kripabandhu Ghosh (IISER Kolkata) to evaluate the results generated by state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs) in high-stakes domains such as Legal, Health, and Finance by a novel regime of prompts assessing their faithfullness through reproducibility.Developed a novel method termed "ReQuesting" to benchmark the faithfullness of explanatory algorithms generated by multiple SOTA LLMs like Gemini, Mixtral and Llama3-70b after completing a task within these critical domains, primarily through prompt engineering techniques.The "ReQuesting" method also enables models to identify suitable algorithms for task execution, thereby enhancing the trustworthiness and transparency of LLM outputs, which is particularly crucial in high-risk applications.Paper: Submitted for review (NAACL 2025)

Summer School StudentNeuromatch Academy Jul 2023 - Aug 2023Attended a 3 week long summer school program that taught almost all basic aspects of Deep Learning in NLP. Did a project comparing custom transformer model (made using pytorch transformer encoder layers) and BERT to observe how unsupervised pre-training of BERT helps it outperform conventional models of similar architecture.
