We computer scientists, with a long legacy in graph theory and algorithms, strongly feel that we have a lot to contribute to and learn from the very recent and extremely potent field of Large Language Models and Natural Language Processing. This is the primary reason for the inception of the Large Language Models Research Group, (LaRGo) of Dr. Kripabandhu Ghosh, CDS, IISER Kolkata (https://www.linkedin.com/in/kripabandhu-ghosh-5b727842/). This language research group is especially interested in understanding the structure and dynamics of natural language processing with a focus on large language models. Various techniques from machine learning, deep learning, mathematics, physics, and data analytics are leveraged to solve hard and interesting problems in this area.
