About Angie Mistretta

After almost 14 years of experience lighting for Pixar Animation Studios, I have happily flown from the nest into the game industry. Now, at Deck Nine Games, I am deep into cinematic lighting using UE5 Lumen. My role focuses on shot-lighting all cinematic sequences in the project. I work with the Art Director to shape the look of scenes and bring the vision through. This also entails making sure our tools run smoothly and advocating for new ways to enhance the toolsets. Creating an organizational system to oversee the progress of all sequences. Training and guiding new lighters who are brought in to assist and more.Having the opportunity to learn and work with LUMEN has been pretty amazing and I am excited to be a part of a great team using this amazing tool.

As a lead on my team I work with production to create lighting rigs and systems that help my teammates have a more streamline lighting experience. While maintaining rigs my contributions include camera layout, lighting, digital finishing and compositing.
