Project Name: TCS Global Expensing Solution (Apr 2013 – Oct 2015)ResponsibilitiesDesigning and Implementing the solution to carry out Expensing using single logic.Ensuring that Expensing of all the teams can be done through parallel run.Designing the interface to receive the Cost data/ salary data from all the teams in a different format and transforming them in a standard format using Pl/SQL procedure and load the data into the Expensing system.Proper validation was developed for all the Users, so that Users of respective geographies can perform Expensing of their geography only.Extensive use of Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Cursors, Packages, Exceptions and advance feature oracle like bulk collect, Associative.Created shell script using SQL*Loader to load the data from Flat file to table.Extensively used indexes, well designed queries, materialized views, partitioning tables to tune the execution time of the Global Expensing code from 4hrs to 1 hr.Created UI and Expensing Reports using concurrent program, executables, function, responsibilities of Oracle apps payroll module of Oracle EBS 11i.Interacted with the Users of different geographies and provided optimal solution to their queries and problem.Provided training to the end Users.This robust Expensing solution now supports the Expensing of 80 geographies.
