I joined PBK as part of Encore’s investment in the business in September 2011. As part of the investment strategy I built out the senior management team and developed and executed a clear strategic plan. These actions helped to enhance growth and increase business capability particularly in technology, marketing and supplier relationships. This led to an acceleration in growth for the business, cementing PBK’s position as a prominent player in the global road cycling market.The exit to The Hut Group Limited, one of Europe’s fastest growing online retailers and brand owners, was completed in January 2013. In June 2013 PBK's sale to The Hut Group won the 2013 UK Deal of The Year at the prestigious M&A Awards.

In 2007, I was backed by Private Equity in a Management Buy In from the business’s retiring founder shareholders. Consolidated 8 Solutions position with the existing customer base and successfully augmenting its position as the market leader with high profile new business wins.In 2010, following a strong period of growth, the business was sold as part of a secondary management buy-out supported by a larger private equity investor, Sovereign Capital. As the CEO of 8 Solutions, a key platform business within the Sovereign Capital umbrella, my goal was the creation and development of a broad reaching multifaceted Environmental Management organisation operating across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.With an initial focus on the Data Centre market and in the provision of Data Centre “Healthcare” services.
