 Finding new supplier base or standby vendor at Morbi, for sourcing of tiles as per the requirement given by management from time to time or in case of issues with the capacity with the regular vendor. Negotiations of rates and payment terms of the tiles from different vendors at Morbi. Maintain daily production, dispatch and stock reports of sourced suppliers.  Handled 14 different suppliers including two JV units for sourcing of the tiles as per the technical requirement of Somany.

(Sourcing) in accomplishing the objectives of meeting the production plan and new development as given by the management from time to time. To develop New Vendor Relationship which helps as alternate supply source/ as a price advantage strategy / new product development? Cost Saving in Respect to the YOY price (Morbi). Process Streamlining & Implementation of Stage Wise Data from JV partner/s. Ensure Availability of Material as per Requirement from planning department. Worked for setup up of various vendors to match the specifications of Nitco and start production in floor and vitrified division. Successfully achieved the target of 90% premium quality set by the management for vitrified tiles.  Ensure that quality parameters of production tiles are thoroughly maintained. Ensure Color matching of white and colored bodies is thoroughly maintained. Working for product development & body Trials in lab as well as in production (press, dipping line and firing). Co-ordinate Departmental activities with related Departments. Implement ISO standards in the Organization. Analysis of all customer complaints received for sourced material on monthly and yearly basis. Taking necessary corrective and preventative action to reduce the customer complaints. Co-ordination with sales for supply of products on proper timeline. Building strong motivated sourcing team & retains talent in the organization.
