Advised many domestic and foreign clients, including Fortune 500 companies, on a range of complicated international tax planning and tax saving issues related to cross-border business and financing transactions at a Tier ‘A’ tax firm. This included analyzing, for tax efficiency, various structures, entity forms, contract clauses and reorganization strategies. Set up tax efficient structures for inbound investment using tax treaties. Drafted opinions and advice memorandums for clients and accounting firms on various tax issues.Worked with a team of two associates and a trainee associate in representing various clients before IRS and in appeals. Mentioned by Legal500 and Tax Directors Handbook 2013 as an up-and-coming tax lawyer.
