Current• Undertaking inventory management, having adequate inventory of stock and replenishing it based on demand/supply forecasts; Ensuring minimum stock level at RDC's as well as in Sales offices with the help of Replenishment in line with stock norms & to avoid any sales loss.• Successfully liaising and coordinating with HO in supply chain department and with Zonal Manager, State Manager and all the District Managers regarding business matters to ensure smooth working all the time.• Handling appropriate inventory & stock management practices & procedures, taking corrective measures wherever appropriate to execute effective inventory management to reduce obsolete stock, keeping tab on proper stacking, preservation, receipt & issue of material; liaising with planners for meeting additional stock requirements.• Looking after 3 PL operations, guiding, controlling training and mentoring the team members and instilling in them a sense of confidence to return peak levels of performance.• Identifying, developing & maintaining cost effective vendor source for ensuring timely delivery of items; generating MIS & assessing the performances of vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for, rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms etc. • Ensuring proper distribution of tyres to sales offices as per ATP file and timely receipt of POD and freight booking for the transporters; outstanding contribution in executing cost saving measures in terms of transportation & area management• Looking after overall commercial matters as well as Material Management, Distribution Management / Vendor Management, ensuring timely processing of bills/receipts and handling coordination with state and zonal office for fund indenting & timely payment release of vendors.
