Amit has approximately 14 years of professional work experience in the areas of strategy and finance. He started his career with Feedback Ventures in 1995 advising clients in the area of strategy formulation and business plan development. In 2000, he joined Arthur Andersen, Business Consulting / Global Corporate Finance where he played a lead role in numerous client engagements assisting clients in the areas of fund raising, mergers and acquisitions, strategy formulation and privatizations of State-owned enterprises. From 2003, Amit was part of NM Rothschild, India where he focused on large transactions, especially in the infrastructure sector.Amit joined Bharti in 2004 in a leading role in their corporate strategy team. At Bharti, Amit has spearheaded many important strategic projects in the areas of outsourcing, mergers and acquisitions and large capital investment decisions.
