As a senior user experience consultant I was part of the award winning digital design agency of Harman https://www.huemendesign.com/ based in Bangalore, India. My role involved liaising and working with global sales/marketing teams in responding to proposals and providing POC’s for new business opportunities. Presenting our overall offering to prospective clients and CXOs. Conducting participatory design workshops with clients to understand project needs and goals. Collaborate with project managers, business analyst and engineering teams in planning, scoping, and defining project parameters.Prepare detailed UX proposals and project plan with time lines, resources, activities, deliverables, and scope. Have worked as an individual contributor and led UX teams on many projects with a 100% success rate. I follow the design thinking process. Created wireframes at varying levels of fidelity, including highly advanced clickable prototypes. Worked with geographically distributed large teams. I strongly believe it’s important for UX professionals to be hands-on. I like to explore ideas by quickly paper prototyping and brainstorming concepts on a whiteboard. I was part of the Thomson Reuters investment banking user experience group that was solely responsible for all user experience for IB (Investment Banking) products of Thomson Reuters. As a design consultant I worked closely with all product managers both in India and the US for various user experience requirements across all products of Investment banking division. My work involved the below mentioned activities and I handled some of these projects for the entire development cycle:My Role:Requirement gathering and getting on calls with all the product stakeholders on an on-going basis to understand the FRS (functional requirements specification) and come up with both low/high fidelity wireframes.Mapping out, understanding and defining the persona's.Breaking down complex task flows into easy workflows and providing alternative course options.Creating interactive prototypes for POC (proof of concept) to showcase and test with target users.Handled a team of two external visual designers (From Russia) and guided them to create the visual design requirements for the entire project.Myself created visual design, styles and standards which were followed throughout the user interface of the product.Simplifying the user Interface by defining and creating style guides.Applying UCD (User Centered Design) principles on an on-going basis.Usability testing and heuristic evaluation.
