Reported to CFO and led IS/IT/ Automation organizations. Responsible for green field IT implementation at Miasole to take it to volume manufacturing. Built and managed the corporate IS which implemented Oracle ERP, Agile PDM, BI and several integrations. Managed the IT infrastructure team to handle the explosive growth. Implemented infrastructure/ data center/ industrial LAN to ensure 99.999% uptime. Responsible for support of network, WiFi/ Phones/ Email, Servers. Led the automation team responsible for factory floor automation, MES, SPC and Operational Reporting factories in Santa Clara. Worked under the guidance of legends such as Bob Baker (ex-head Intel TMG/ President of Miasole) and helped quadruple the factory throughput and improved yields to >95% without adding any new equipment or headcount. Automation and data-driven manufacturing played a big role on this.

Amiya spent five years at JDS Uniphase managing their global manufacturing systems group and was responsible for standardizing manufacturing systems across more than a dozen factories worldwide using Camstar Insite and Oracle ERP.
