Allison McCarty is a seasoned communications professional with 16+ years of experience, working in fast-paced, strategic, and detail-oriented environments (both in-house & agency).McCarty is currently a Public Relations lead at Workday. Within this role McCarty supports Corporate PR for Workday, leading comms programs across diversity, equity, and inclusion; sports marketing; policy & corporate affairs; issues & crisis management; and more. As part of her tenure at Workday, in 2016, she built Workday's Workplace and Partner PR Programs from the ground up and led both programs for three years. From 2020-2021, McCarty was part of Workday's Accelerator team, a 20-person team from across the company, dedicated to defining and measuring Workday's commitments to social justice. And more recently, in 2023, McCarty led the corporate communications workstream, in addition to all PR deliverables, for Workday's first-ever Super Bowl ad. Stemming from her work, Workday's Super Bowl ad garnered more than 4.3 billion media impressions, and as a result, she received a company-wide "Outstanding Contributor Award."Previously, she was a PR manager at North of Nine Communications where she served as the agency lead for Intel’s Corporate PR Program. McCarty joined North of Nine from Burson-Marsteller, where she worked with Kleiner Perkins, GMZ Energy, Intel Capital, HP, Sony, GOOD Technology and Inconvenient Youth, a grassroots nonprofit to encourage climate change awareness amongst teens. Prior to that, McCarty worked for a boutique PR firm in Santa Barbara, CA, specializing in sustainable companies.
