I have a background in computational disciplines including maths & statistics from the University and other resources, and as I direct my career forward as an aspiring Data Scientist, I look forward to networking with more passionate and talented people in the industry and get along with everybody. And who knows, maybe we get to be colleagues in the future.To briefly introduce myself, I am a detail-oriented and performance-driven individual offering excellent technical skills and the important ability to function well both independently and in a deadline-driven team setting. Having done a variety of project exposed me to a wide range of technologies varying from HTML/CSS, Python to C++, Unreal Engine which allowed me to grasp generalised knowledge of all the domains & technologies while specialising myself with the python programming language. I have been programming in python for more than 6 years, therein, last 3 years of them have been dedicated to data science. During these periods, my works ranged from analysis to prediction and forecasting in the legal & sales to insurance & finance domains. I have familiarised myself with multiple tools/technologies associated to this field including PowerBI, Tableau for visualisation/analytical dashboards and Matplotlib, Seaborn for visualisation in Jupyter Notebook/Python. I also have perfection over machine learning libraries in python for modelling and forecasting and some experience on NLP. Further, I have experience with BeautifulSoup, lxml & selenium for scraping data from websites and building an ETL pipeline. I also have experience in building up the schema and setting up and maintaining MySQL database and worked with SQL Server & AWS Redis before.With these experiences, not only would I be able to adapt more easily, but will also allow me to share my knowledge & provide out-of-the-box solutions to all the problems with the help of my critical thinking and analytical skills & expertise. As the quote from professor Theodore Levitt, “People don’t want to buy a quarter-inch drill. They want a quarter-inch hole.”, my work tries to get you that quarter-inch hole without buying the drill.
