If I may ever assist you in any way, please don’t hesitate to ask.Now a little bit about me….I am very proud to be one of the earliest team member of Jingle Pay where my understanding of the business requirements of the Payments, digital banking and my expertise in risk and compliance have enabled me to address the most important elements in solving today's business problems: strategy, people, technology, and bottom-line results.Prior to Jingle Pay, I was a Chief Risk Officer at Abhi (YC S21) where I created the risk function from the scratch. The journey was short but a memorable one. It gave me the confidence and the exposure required to step into international space.Before Abhi, I spent a very long time with Telenor Microfinance Bank & Easypaisa - Pakistan's first and the largest digital banking platform. I witnessed the journey from Tameer to Telenor, lived the fintech and startup life when these terms were not as common as they are now and have seen all the highs and lows that have a huge impact on what I am today.My experience has taught me that you can never go risk-free entirely, but you can manage it surely—in fact, turn it to your advantage. I develop a culture that enables strong bonds between different lines of defense, making it easier for everybody to navigate through tough times.I've spent my career not only navigating the wild terrain of fintech and startups but also structuring robust frameworks that address problems, not avoid them. Here, my superpower is associated with data analytics, turning every potential pitfall into stepping stones for growth.Risk management to me is simply knowing the "why," then making the "how" as clear as possible. I religiously follow the philosophy of "less is more".I am familiarizing myself with Decentralized Finance (DeFi) these days and as someone who has first hand experience of the shortcomings of CeFi, the learning experience so far has been incredible.I love reframing challenges into possibilities and connecting with people who think creatively and communicate openly. I love hearing and telling stories.
