As Deputy Manager-Budgeting and Financial Analysis at Gul Ahmed Textile Mills, my primary responsibilities included CAPEX and OPEX Budgeting exercise and monitoring of Company’s performance.

I was responsible for conducting Receivable Management Project for Midas Safety Products LLC. Scope of the project was to conduct gap and SWOT analysis for current procedures in practice, recommend Industry Best practices and document Credit and Receivables Management policy for future use of the Company.In addition, I Participated in Inventory Management Project for Beltexco and Primesafety Limited. Scope of the project was to liquidate slow moving inventory and reduce inventory and receivable days in order to present a stronger Working Capital.

I had been posted abroad as Financial consultant in Midas Safety Sri Lanka, a Global Manufacturer of Industrial safety gloves. I was second in command involved in carrying out a series of projects for duration of 12-14 months.- Carried out Budgeting exercise for the year 2014 & 2015 for the Sri Lanka region. - Trained the Finance department in Budgeting exercises, Sales Growth Indicator analysis and Business performance management protocols.- Helped the company develop customized Financial MIS beneficial for management and top management reporting.- Prepared analysis of major CAPEX Projects to be carried out on pre acquisition basis- Carried out an Inventory Management Project, the purpose of which was to provide an independent assessment to management and advise in Best Practice Inventory protocols.- Conducted Key performance Indicators and Cost Saving Targets Initiative for 2015 FY.
