Ensure alignment with Department of Homeland Security and the National Response Framework (NRF) guidelines across all phases of the emergency management cycle, including mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. Leading the development of the City of Fort Collins Crisis Communication plan; conducted a gap analysis, interviewed stakeholders to identify unique departmental public safety communications needs, and assisting with training and extreme weather table top exercise. Conducted a comprehensive assessment of a tabletop exercise for Martin County, Florida. Reviewed existing plans, policies, and practices, identifying four departments lacking Continuity of Operations (COOP) plans. Took proactive measures to address deficiencies, including securing alternate locations for three departments. Facilitated productive collaborations between the county and the Information Technology (IT) department to develop adaptable and scalable continuity of operations plans. Crafted a comprehensive Exercise Facilitator Guide tailored for Sterns County, Minnesota, aligning their program with the rigorous standards of the Department of Homeland Security’s Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP), ensuring optimal preparedness and compliance with regulatory requirements. Developed the After-Action Report (AAR) for the City of Woodinville's Damage Assessment Tabletop Workshop Exercise.
