My work is data-driven and often relies on the analysis of large datasets using specialized tools. My clients are pharmaceutical companies, and my primary workstreams rely on longitudinal patient-level claims data to perform healthcare economics and outcomes research (HEOR). Many of my deliverables are targeted toward healthcare practitioners and presented at scientific conferences and/or published in clinically focused journals. Some of my work is used to support regulatory submissions; to supply evidence for payer negotiations, for example, for value-based pricing or budget impact analysis; or to support the interface of my clients' Medical Science Liaison teams with healthcare systems. A portion of my work is exploratory. Disease areas in which I have worked include widely prevalent disorders like migraine, but also rare diseases like limb girdle muscular dystrophy, metachromatic leukodystrophy and certain other neurological disorders. The nature of this work requires contextual understanding of disease epidemiology, etiology, and therapies. Other of my analytical workstreams support sales operations using HCP/HCO-level data; for example, to design and implement incentive compensation programs, or for targeting.Drawing on my prior experience in the technology sector, a portion of my time is spent on managing our internal technical infrastructure. I am also involved in recruiting, training, and internal mentorship.

Role: Transition Manager (Contractor)Managed the transition of CTA’s IT infrastructure from Unisys to SDI and directed technical operations during the transition period. These operations encompass all CTA bus garages and rail terminals, almost all corporate computer facilities and the support of roughly 3000 end users. • Overall responsibility for technical service delivery • Hired and managed onsite support personnel (15 hires)• Managed subcontractor companies • Directed the development of technical procedures and documentation; including change control; standard operating procedures; staffing plans; management reports; escalation plans; network diagrams; infrastructure documentation; equipment inventory and refresh strategy; software license management; and streamlined procedures to meet stringent SLAs. • Created an effective, cohesive and efficient support team with appropriate interfaces to CTA internal IT staff.

Role: Director of IT Operations (Acting)IT Operations at CorSolutions encompasses datacenter operations, network services, telecommunications and call center services, support services, database administration, messaging, server infrastructure, storage infrastructure, and all relevant technical architecture. CorSolutions is a 24x7 environment, and technology drives all company revenue.• Responsible for CorSolutions’ IT Operations, reporting to the VP of IT. • Managed IT Ops capital budget and over 90% of overall IT spending. • Managed vendor relations and contracts. • Managed IT change control.• Managed five direct reports and an overall staff of 17• Managed hiring of new employees• Liaison to CorSolutions business units.• Oversight on a portfolio of over 50 active projects• Technical leadership in network infrastructure during vacancy of the network manager role.

• Designed and managed the implementation of a “green-field” IT operating environment and transitioned from the legacy IT environment. Components included networks, servers, telecommunications, security, user support, storage and messaging. Technologies included a secure MPLS IP network, Cisco IP Telephony, Windows 2003 Active Directory, EMC SANs, Veritas Backup Suite, Exchange 2003 and Blackberry Enterprise Server. • Developed and managed budget of $1.6M for this effort.
