I crafted the digital strategy for ETBFSI and ETCFO, recruited teams, planned formats, and ensured we served quality news to our audience. ETBFSI covers Banking, Finance, FinTech, Insurance, NBFC, Economy and also the new-age economy. I also curate special IPs and our events. Five years down the line, ETBFSI is being read/viewed by more than 5 million readers. Similarly, ETCFO covers the CFO community, India Inc, Taxation, Audit, and anything that matters to the CFOs. FinBizness.com started with the idea of covering BFSI in detail in a video format. As the founding Editor I created the website, hired the team and launched the portal. We began producing one video story daily from different segments like Banking, NBFC, Insurance, FinTech and Economy. We kept our focus sharp on the latest and future trends in BFSI. I interviewed more than 200 CXOs from the BFSI world over 18 months. I also covered events like SIBOS, the Singapore Fintech Festival, Gartner, Money 2020, ABA etc.

After spending a decade in the TV media and also attending a course in digital media from SNU, I took a break and ventured into academics. I began teaching financial journalism and financial analysis to graduate students of Mumbai University. I also delivered guest lectures at Symbiosis Institute and other banking and finance colleges. Being a senior team member, I also anchored various live shows and produced and anchored feature shows on financial crimes, scams and frauds. Apart from the typical M&As, my coverage on financial data fraud and a series of stories on farm distress in Maharashtra were impactful.
