About Andrew Moore
Department Chair and Assistant Professor with a demonstrated history of working in under-served communities. Skilled in curriculum, assessment, and instructional design as well as integrating technology and on-line tools into the classroom. Experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary and post-secondary level. Began as a Special Education Teacher in the Rochester City School District in 2010 and expanded into teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2011. Currently teaching as an Assistant Professor at National Louis University in the Undergraduate College while also serving at the Department Chair for the mathematics department.National Louis University’s undergraduate program has set the ambitious goal of becoming a local and national leader in closing the opportunity gap in bachelor’s degree attainment. Through a low-cost, broadly accessible, and personalized education experience, the UGC at NLU enables students who have traditionally been underserved in higher education to graduate on time, with little or no debt, and with the competitive preparation necessary to enter meaningful careers upon graduation. National Louis University aims to get thousands more first-generation Chicago students to and through college. The Undergraduate College's mission is to provide a rigorous, technology-enhanced, and affordable college education in a supportive environment that respects diversity in order to help all students meet and surpass their personal, academic, and career goals.
