Product Marketing Manager, Mi Audio Products
Responsible for developing and executing Avid’s product marketing strategy for the following pro audio/MI categories—keyboards, studio monitors, DJ, live sound, and recording. This included the following:—Established the market focus, positioning, and messaging for each product—Provided strategic direction and guidance for Avid’s functional teams—including the PR, artist relations, social media, direct marketing, field marketing, events, channel support, web, creative, video production, and sales groups—Drove development and execution of strategic plans for product launches, sustaining marketing programs, brand campaigns, and corporate events—Set priorities with team members to ensure that key projects stayed on track—Was jointly responsible for developing and tracking the WW pro audio/MI marketing budget—Collaborated with the pro/broadcast division marketing managers to create marketing plans that reached across product and customer groups—Developed metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing tactics—then used that information to increase the effectiveness of future programs —Coordinated customer discussions, focus groups, and other research initiatives—Was responsible for providing insight, opinions, and recommendations for areas where Avid could continue momentum or explore new markets—Met regularly with key retail channel partners to discuss new product introductions and coordinate related co-marketing and promo activities
