As a Research Assistant, I collaborated with Dr. Amlan Chatterjee to create 10 unique exam projects that bolstered curriculum rigor and drew 95% positive student feedback. I designed innovative project concepts aligned with educational objectives, resulting in a more dynamic and impactful academic environment.

I collaborated with Dr. Parveen Chhetri on an eco-commuting initiative targeting a 15% carbon emissions reduction. By analyzing 995 surveys with Matplotlib and pandas, I produced data-driven visualizations for stakeholders and proposed strategies like increased public transit and carpooling. This project strengthened my data analysis skills and underscored the value of community engagement for environmental sustainability.

As a Software Engineering Intern at Plivo, I created an automated alerting pipeline with Python, Prometheus, and Slack, drastically reducing incident detection times. I developed AWS Lambda functions to filter false positives and automate resolution, while leveraging Chaos Mesh in Kubernetes to pinpoint system weaknesses and enhance reliability. Containerizing services with Docker and migrating them to EKS streamlined deployments and improved scalability, and refining Terraform modules ensured seamless AWS infrastructure updates. Throughout this experience, I tackled complex Kubernetes configurations, integrated diverse monitoring tools, and balanced performance optimization with resource management to deliver more resilient, scalable systems.

As a Cloud Engineer, I designed and implemented scalable, highly available AWS architectures using EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS, automating infrastructure with CloudFormation and Terraform. I reduced costs by optimizing AWS environments and built CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline and CodeDeploy. I also managed secure networking using VPCs and security groups, deployed serverless apps with Lambda and API Gateway, and centralized logging in CloudWatch. Key challenges included managing complex networking for security, balancing resource optimization with performance, ensuring seamless automation across multiple environments, and centralizing logging for actionable insights.
