As an Application Services Technologist at Argus Control Systems, I configure and program automated control systems for horticulture, aquaculture, and related biotechnology industries. I work with different kinds of sensors, such as temperature, humidity, pressure, wind speed, and weather station, to control equipment for new and existing Argus systems. I also troubleshoot communication issues between I/O modules and controller boards, perform firmware and software updates, and design and interpret electrical drawings.I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics at BCIT, after completing a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering with Automation and Instrumentation at the same institution. I have also gained commissioning and maintenance experience with fully automated HPP (High Pressure Processing) machines at HPP Canada and HPP West Coast, where I oversaw installation, acquired permits, managed production shifts, and ordered spare parts. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge in automation, instrumentation, and electronics to solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions.
