-Serves as Program Officer for the California Space Grant Consortium (CaSGC) in the area of aerospace and STEM related education, training and outreach.-Helps manage a consortium of 26 California Universities including the UC and CSU systems, private universities and up to 10 community colleges in pursuit of the National Space Grant goals. -Coordinates and facilitates statewide aerospace related educational outreach projects involving local and national government, NASA, industry and academic sectors (K-12 & Higher Education). -Serves as liaison and resource for NASA, California State organizations, National Space Grant Programs, UC faculty and administrators and system wide officials at all levels. -Analyzes NASA and external solicitations and requirements; assist with the development of budgets and proposals and be responsible for post-award administration.

• Coordinates and develops outreach efforts with the K-12 community and supports recruitment events of prospective students• Manages student employees in after-school mentorship program and advises student clubs and learning abroad initiatives• Directs statewide STEM competition as part of multipronged approach to engaging students in science and engineering

• Provide information and counsel on academic programs, admission requirements and procedures to prospective engineering undergraduate and graduate students• Build and maintain relationships with high school counselors, students and families by participating in college fairs and attending recruitment events• Establish enrollment goals for assigned territories and actively reevaluate targeted areas using statistical data• Conduct particular follow-up to applicants through frequent written and phone contact

• Worked to reinstate a module that was previously canceled as a result of vocalized interest from students• Actively participated in staff-student meetings, acknowledging problems and addressing student needs• Responsible for communicating changes and status of course program to students in a timely manner

• Two years international experience teaching conversational English to students between 4-12 years of age and aiding adults in functional business English • Individually organized class material, lesson plans and created tests for a variety of education levels • Effectively worked with South Korean co-teachers to communicate course changes and monitor class progression
