As one of three assistante directors, I lead all faculty development, teach two sections of UNIV 1004: College Success Strategies which focuses on developing metacognition and academic skill development for at-risk learners, redesign and create asynchronous versions of UNIV 1004 and LAHS 1014 ASPIRE Academic Recovery courses through collaboration with the former instructors of each course. Use Canvas and Adobe Captivate 12 for the ID part. Represent the Student Success Center at campus events. In this role, I also attended the NSF PEER Chicago Field School to develop research on how to best serve learners from underserved backgrounds.

I guide student teams in experiential projects that make use of discovery learning while aiding them in developing competencies such as design thinking, systems thinking, cultural agility, and problem solving.

I co-manage and co-develop with a collaborative team a living document authored by scholars from multiple education institutions regarding their experiences with the implementation and practice of adaptive lifelong learning pathways as part of Virginia Tech's Beyond Boundaries framework.

I do qualitative coding and analysis on The NSF Professional Engineering Pathways Study (PEPS), which is a three-year collaborative study involving Stanford (lead institution) with a subcontract to Arizona State, Purdue and Virginia Tech (NSF-EEC-1360665, 1360956, and 1360958).

I do qualitative analysis on a faculty member's NSF Career Grant.
