Amy brings her extensive aviation experience to the firm with a 36-year career with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), including 15 years as Regional Administrator of the New England Region. As the senior FAA leader in the region, she worked with constituents in the aviation industry, federal, state, and local agencies, the military, unions, and civic and private interest groups. She provided corporate leadership by working across multiple FAA lines of business to ensure that major regional initiatives and operations were accomplished. Amy also built relationships with internal management and external stakeholders to influence positive outcomes of aviation initiatives. She served as FAA liaison to Women in Aviation, International, where she served as Chair of the Board of Directors, and as FAA liaison to NASAO. Amy also served as Executive Leader to FAA’s STEM-AVSED Program for 13 years, directing and growing the aviation and space education program internationally, and was a longstanding member of the Greater Boston Federal Executive Board of Directors for 15 years. She is experienced in the use of persuasion, negotiation, and influence skills to administer and support organizational policies and programs. Throughout her career, she enthusiastically served as a mentor to many young people, encouraging their futures in aviation, and also has been a speaker to numerous aviation organizations and conferences. Amy retired from the FAA in 2017.Amy brings valuable insight, assistance, and a unique perspective to the firm’s aviation matters, specifically with regulatory enforcement, pilot and aircraft certifications and airport business matters.
