In this position I also serve on various committees and conduct Continuing Legal Education trainings for attorneys and legal professionals, including eFiling training and demonstrations.

Performed complex, highly responsible and confidential administrative support for the department director and deputy director. Examples include: managing the director’s correspondence; prioritizing conflicting meeting requests and managing the director’s calendar; conveying to subordinate staff the expectations and instructions of the director; serving as a member of the management team; responding to inquires from the public, the press, elected officials and staff; developing and maintaining office procedures; maintaining the department’s administrative files; directly supervising two administrative staff positions; performing special projects and serving on and/or leading various committees as appropriate.

Supervised departmental administrative personnel. Directed preparations for board and committee meetings and scheduling, and provided direct staff support to board members, including agenda development, minute-taking, and providing information to the board, staff and the public. Trained staff members on board processes and communications; responsibility for quality control of those communications. Initiated and implemented electronic communications with board members and the public, including regular web site updates.
