I started my professional career in 2000 in Human Resources. I fell into it through a temp agency because I had moved to Colorado on a whim after college and needed to get started quick. In 2006 I had been working in HR for a small university in Boulder for a few years and I knew I was ready for a change. When I mentioned this to our then benefits broker, she asked if I would be interested in joining her team. They were a small local independent agency. I was hired as an account manager, and there I stayed for the next 16 years!In 2022 I joined Andy Neary at Complete Game Consulting. He and I had worked together at the benefits agency so we already knew we made a great team. To be honest, I never thought I would leave the benefits agency, but I believed in the mission of CGC and loved the idea of moving into a role where I could help insurance professionals.
