In my communications career I have created and executed innovative PR campaigns for companies such as American Express, Chevron, Vision Service Plan, Sentient Jet and GeoEye. I began my career in New York City where I joined Sloane & Company, an award winning public relations and investor relations firm. Following, I moved to Denver, Colo. to work for LeGrand Hart public relations. As an Associate Director I supported several of the firm's corporate clients, including Chevron Mining, Clifton Gunderson and On-Q/Legrand. With a keen interest in the energy industry, I joined Black Hills Corp. in January 2009 as a Communications Manager. I was promoted to Sr. Communications Manager a year later to oversee communications for our electric utilities and non-regulated interests and was recently promoted to Sr. Manager, External Affairs where I currently lead a team of 13 across our nine state footprint in our communications, community relations and economic development efforts. In my spare time I enjoy taking advantage of all Colorado has to offer, and spending time with my husband David and our son Michael.
