Language Art Teacher
Current- Developed hybrid courses combining online lessons, project-based learning, and traditional classroom activities using Ohio's Learning Standards in English Language Arts.
- Assessed and differentiated learning for 150+ students while working with drop prevention team to address life events of students that might interfere with graduation.
- Maintained discipline in traditional classroom and in the 60 seat hybrid learning lab where students worked both independently and on project-based learning projects.
- Designed a curriculum map integrating online courses, project-based learning and classroom instruction that was used in 6 schools in Ohio and as a model in company training.
- Created exemplar lesson plans, website and learning activities for a complete quarter of instruction used for new and developing teacher training.
- Met with parents to develop plans with increase student participation and achievement and to share student successes.
