Over see daily operations of the Cytopathology department for Cone Heath which includes Moses Cone, Wesley Long, Women's Hospital, Annie Penn and the cell blocks for Alamance Hospital. Our department also processes all Cytology for Randolph Hospital. In addition to managing the daily operation, quality assurance and staff of the Cytology department, I also am involved in the daignostic portion of the GYN and Non-gyn cases. I over see our Molecular department where we test for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, HPV and Trichomonas using the Hologic Panther Instrument. I am also involved in client customer service and marketing.

As an assistant I perfomrend routine diagnostic work on GYN and NONGYN cases using a microscope. We use a manual scope for Non-gyn evalutaion and an imaging scope for GYN review. I participated in Quality Control and rescreen of cases as part of triage for our pathologist. I assisted in the colection of fine needle aspirations, endoscopic gastric and bronchial cases. I did the quality assurance for our department and did marketing and customer service. I also assisted in daily operations of the department.
