Demonstrate knowledge in all areas previously learned at prior hospital with additional  knowledge and responsibilities as following:  ● Extensive pre and post myocardial infarction event care including cardiac resuscitation  measures including IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella heart pump), care of femoral  sheaths and TR (radial balloon compression devices), post coronary stent placement care  ● Knowledge and maintenance of Arctic Sun device for hypothermia protocol to assist with  better outcomes for post cardiac arrest patients Clinical Coordinator of Intensive Care Unit:  ● Charge nurse duties include responding to Rapid Response calls within hospital, carrying  out advanced cardiopulmonary life support when necessary and determining transfer for  higher level of care to unit when needed   ● Responsible for teaching and being the resource for all nurses in unit as a senior intensive  care nurse  ● Teaching and orienting other nurses when new equipment in ICU   ● Delegating responsibilities to other ICU nurses as needed ● Responsible for staffing and making nurse/patient assignments

Provide compassionate care to critical patients suffering from injuries or debilitating  conditions.   ● Critically assess patient conditions and adeptly handle all aspects of treatment   ● Proficient in using telemetry including determining heart rhythms and using monitors  ● Care and treatment include neuro, respiratory, cardiovascular/stroke, pre and post surgical,  acute injuries (ie. status post MVA arrived via Medflight)  ● Knowledge required: Neuro - (ICP) intracranial pressure monitoring, obtaining and  analyzing diagnostic data (X-Ray, CT & MRI), carrying out an ongoing full neuro assessment  to assess for changes in status  ● Cardiovascular- Monitoring/care of arterial and CVP lines, Swan Ganz catheter, pericardial  drains, vasopressors-various blood pressure support continuous IV medications,  pacemaker/AICD defibrillator, post CABG care   ● Respiratory- knowledge and use of all oxygen delivery devices including minor nasal  cannula to more extensive oxygen delivery such as V-Mask, NRB, NIV, Ambu Bag,  Ventilator and post intubation care, trach, chest tube care and maintenance included   ● Demonstrate knowledge for care of post surgical patient (Ortho, Neuro, Spine,  Cardiovascular, and general surgeries)  ● Collaborating with teams (Physicians, fellow unit nurses, therapist and families) to achieve optimal outcomes

Planned and implemented complex procedures and collaboration with surgical team  ● Assisted with rapid room turnover, inventory and obtaining all instruments necessary to  carry out a successful and smooth operation  ● Assisted surgeons during various surgical operations including Orthopedics, Neuro, general  and Cardiovascular settings   ● Oriented and assisted new members of the OR team   ● Organized meetings and assisted with new policy and procedure implementation
