After almost twenty years in sales, marketing, and product and people management at Draper, Inc., in 2018, I left the corporate world and joined a family business. Alpha Placement Services, the first staffing agency in New Castle, was founded in 2001. While Alpha survived the nightmare and following economic uncertainties of September 11th, we could not survive the closures of the pandemic. During my short stint with Alpha, I offered contract and temporary employment services, direct hire placements, part-time and full-time staffing solutions, career counseling, and resume development. Not to mention learning the ins and outs of being a small business owner and operator. With a BS in Marketing from Butler University and an MBA from Anderson University, I began teaching at Ivy Tech Community College in 2021. I joined the New Castle Community School System (yes, I am a New Castle graduate) as a Community Liaison in the fall of 2022. I thoroughly enjoy blending my business acumen with education in my current position as a Community Liaison for New Castle Community Schools. I love bringing people together. I am passionate about my community. I want my girls, Eliza and Gabriella, to return to a flourishing Henry County when they are ready to settle. It takes people like you and me to make that happen. I strongly believe in networking, love reading anything and everything, writing content, and communicating across the various platforms available today.
