Working in the Water Resources and Strategic Planning department responsible for producing asset standards and strategies to manage assets effectively. Delivered the Zonal Studies project which provided a long term investment plan for each operating region to recommend investment solutions for PR24 and beyond.Responsible for managing a team to support the delivery of the business plan.

Essex & Suffolk Water

Part of a project team including Project Managers, Project Engineers and operational staff to support capital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the agreed scope. Responsible for the business case throughout the project lifecycle to prioritise competing risks and maximise benefits across the asset portfolio. The role requires an understanding of financial constraints and competing business objectives to effectively inform investment decisions.

Essex & Suffolk Water

Prioritising investment decisions based on risk and cost. Responsible for ensuring all investment decisions are justified in line with Asset Management guidelines to maintain consistency.

Analysed incident statistics across the organisation to monitor compliance with health and safety and Care Quality Commission (CQC) statutory requirements. Communicated recommendations and 'lessons learnt' to prevent reoccurrence and reduce risk exposure within the organisation .

Responsible for the continuous supply of fresh water to the North East of England. Dealt with customer requests and complaints, found and resolved main bursts, monitored water quality, and liaised with third party contractors.

Issued debtor warning letters, initiated court proceedings, instructed enforcement action, interviewed debtors, formed debt-reduction plans, and maintained positive client relationships.
