I had a small case load of learners and a larger case load for internal verification. I was also responsible for the quality assurance for all programs and also leading SV visits and audits from the contractors. This year EMA have been Ofsted inspected as part of The Derbyshire Network which gained a grade 2. I was responsible for the day to day quality assurance such as updating policies and procedures and assessor observations. An important part of my role was to track of all completions dates including timely and look ahead 6 months to plan for this, constantly analysing success rates and working with assessors to make them aware of the up and coming completions, action planning for any problems that may arise. Support and development was also a very important part of my role and I also encouraged active and constant CPD. An E-portfolio system was used at EMA and I was responsible for ensuring that all portfolios meet the regulatory requirements. Show less
