Provided general maintenance of 4+ UCLA Recreation-owned facilities. Required to work with minimal supervision while managing various athletic and/or cultural special events. Played an invaluable role by providing customer service, safety, and security to guests of all ages.

Supported the academic achievement, a sense of community, and well-being of undergraduate students in the life sciences. Served as a mentor to other undergraduate students interested in a career in science, from groups who are historically underrepresented in the sciences.

Monitored entry, activity, and traffic flow within residential buildings. Stationed during the evening and early morning hours at lobby entrances for added safety and security. Created safe, supportive, and inclusive living-learning communities for residents.

Served as a teacher’s assistant for laboratory professor in the six-week program Biomedical Sciences Enrichment Program (BISEP). Taught and aided students in lessons concerning wet lab techniques and biotechnology sessions.
