I work with the the wider global HR team on projects and initiatives to drive the HR strategy. Despite my short length of service to date, I was project leader in the review and implementation of a new Absence Management Policy and Process. I led on the management of casework relating to sickness absence, including liaising with the occupational health provider and having regular meetings with the regional senior leadership team to discuss their management information. I also worked wthin a team on any employee engagement initiatives within the region which involved holding regular communication and engagement sessions with support workers, planning recognition events and various communication days.In this role, establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships was paramount. I worked closely with the Learning and Development Business Partner on management capability workshops, a key achievement being the development and role out of Equality and Diversity awareness across the business. I also worked with my HR colleagues to role out company-wide engagement initiatives such as the launch of company values and a communication strategy.One of my main projects working in this role was working alongside the Head of HR on a project to implement a new HR and Payroll system to the organisation. This included working closely with the delivery partners and internal colleagues to build the system in the discovery phase, and also the migration of data for the testing phase.
