Responsibility for the management of the inventory, which entailed stock ordering and stock control• Livery client services for up to 12 stables• Daily management and routines on the yard, meeting the high-quality standards in all aspects of stable management.• To undertake the range of routine tasks associated with high standards of care, welfare and exercise of horses in the stable and at grass, including weekend and out of hours work.• Managing the Equine events calendar to ensure events are planned and organised effectively.• Ensuring the facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standard• To ensure that all horses are kept in good health and condition and fit for work, identifying the need for a farrier or veterinary attention.• Preparing daily lists and monthly work rotas.

During my career at The Scotts Arms I was dealing with a variety of people on a daily basis, helping with their event needs as well as customer service during day to day running of the restaurant.Upon request I would organise bespoke events dependant on the customers requirements, which would often involve 100+ attendees.Within this role it was imperative to work as part of a team to in order to achieve the best outcomes for the customer.As part of my role I was entrusted by the Landlord to organise the ordering of beverages for the pub, help in management of their accountancy books and to lead a team of 15 people.Working in this industry has allowed me to have a greater understanding of a variety of different people’s needs and to adapt where necessary to offer the best solutions and take initiative when needing to in a confident manner.
