• Oversee and maintain all aspects of the general ledger including chart of account, review and approval of journal entries, accruals, allocations, account reconciliations and fixed assets. This includes managing Intercompany account balancing • Responsible for the coordination of all month end closing activities, including the preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages for management. Respond to questions about expenses, trends and deviations from budgets. This includes preparing quarterly, annual or ad hoc reports for management, corporate, government or other reporting agencies. • Budgeting & forecasting as well as Risk & Opportunity assessment• Provide guidance to all departments to ensure that business transactions are performed in a controlled, timely, and accurate manner. • Monitor and improve accounting policies, procedures and ensure proper internal control and segregation of duties across the company as well as compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 requirements, GAAP and Watts Corporate Accounting Policies and Practices. Proactively recommend changes where appropriate. Provide Internal and ISO Auditing where it is suitable. • Coordinate audits by SOX auditors, external and internal auditors. Act as primary interface with auditors and prepare/review interim and year-end audit schedules
