Several years ago I learned that I could do anything I wanted. My life was shaken up a bit and what most would call a huge hurdle, I called my stepping stone. I became a single mom of 4 boys and I knew I needed to succeed in life, especially for these 4 boys. I made the decision to go back to school, continuing to work full time. There have been some rough times, but whenever I started to get stressed and overwhelmed, I would step back and look at the big picture. In my mind I would say “It’s but a moment in time, I can do this!” That mantra helped me get through a lot but it has also made me confident that I really can do anything I put my mind to.I have used this perseverance in my current job at Discover Financial Services. I have been fortunate in my career here to have started several new teams within the organization from the ground up. Learning what worked, what didn’t work, what was successful and what had opportunities is one thing I am grateful for. It has taught me that success can be achieved with the right commitment. Some of the skills I have been able to develop are: time management, organization, people leadership, self-assurance, loyalty, and hard work (to name just a few). Please reach out to me via email at nyntee9@gmail.com if you are interested in finding out more about your future employee (me), or even if you just want to say “hi”.
