I am Senior Lecturer in Law at Leeds Beckett University where I am module leader for Contract Law on the undergraduate programme and the postgraduate diploma in law. I also teach across a variety of other modules including Criminal Law, Client Care Skills and Media and Entertainment Law. Whilst teaching full time, I am also working on my PhD with the University of Durham and I am a member of the Centre for Research into Violence and Abuse (CRiVA). The Centre for Research into Violence and Abuse is dedicated to improving knowledge about interpersonal violence and abuse, and professional and societal responses to it. My research aims to explore the meaning of justice to victim-survivors of domestic violence and abuse in light of the criticism levelled at the criminal justice response to such crimes.
