I managed the office at a medical locum agency. This includes running the HR, such has holiday, sickness and absence and contracts and managing policy and procedure. I put together any marketing and branding required, including attendance at conferences and jobs fairs, and the branding of forms, paperwork and merchandise. I also helped to manage the recruitment of internal staff through advertising and headhunting, and conduct interviews with both agency workers and internal employees. I have put together the process for probation, monitoring, appraisal and review for employees.In addition, I managed the compliance team, ensuring that targets and KPI's are met, and all the necessary tools are in place. This includes an excellent working knowledge of the compliance expected from the industry for all healthcare professionals and keeping up to date with any changes or alterations.

I am currently managing the contracts team at DRC Locums. The team comprises 5 consultants who specifically headhunt and source doctors to book into the companies key accounts. My role includes managing and monitoring KPI's and targets, reviews, budget, training and development and the daily activity of the desk. It is a relatively new desk in comparison with the rest of the company and is steadily growing to meet the needs of our current key accounts and planning ahead for potential contracts in the tendering process.

I worked as the senior recruitment consultant on the resourcing team at DRC Locums. The resourcing team's main objective is to resource for locums within the medical sector to place into our key accounts. We are currently a team of 8, but ever expanding and training our resourcers to become recruitment consultants.
