Currently, I am pursuing a BS in Project Management. I love being a student; having the ability to expand my knowledge base and meet new people from varying backgrounds every day. I have the pleasure of working for an outstanding organization in my local community. They have shown me what it looks like to support families in need in a practical and lasting way. I am also a veteran of the United States Air Force. I enlisted and spent 13 years as a Mission System Specialist on the E4-B and the C-37. These air frames are each unique and provided me with experience in most types of radio communication. That time also exposed me to many different types of people and cultures. I gained incredible hands on experience, trouble shooting skills, and practical computer knowledge.I have spent the majority of the last ten years working and volunteering in the non-profit sector. It has been an eye opening experience to work beside people who share a vision to improve the lives of those around us. Taking on a leadership role amongst a primarily volunteer organization has also been challenging but rewarding.
