A casual research support role under the supervision of Dr. Kim Dunphy. Dr. Dunphy's research interests were encompassed by the possibilities of culture in development, and the development of culture. The main question her research sought to answer was, what difference does arts engagement makes, and how would we know? CDN carries out significant research and development into what matters to communities, their elected representatives, artists and arts managers. CDN works to support those across the public art sector to better understand and utilise planning, carry out meaningful and informative evaluation and better link cultural and creative processes to cultural, economic, social, environmental and civic outcomes.In this role I conducted research, contributed to designing a range of planning and evaluation tools for the arts and culture sector, completed program evaluations as part of service contracts to the public sector, facilitated training workshops on cultural planning, held secretariat duties for the National Local Government Cultural Forum and the CDN Board and managed the day to day operations of the organisation.

The Bophana Center acquires film, television, photography and sound archives on Cambodia from all around the world and gives free public access to this precious heritage. It also supports art creation in all forms and produces documentaries and fictions about Cambodia, which are the archives of tomorrow. At Bophana Center, I prepared funding proposals, managed communications including social media, and helped conceptualise and implement community projects and events, such as the Cambodian International Film Festival and the Acts of Memory Festival.

A one year assignment as an Australian Volunteers for International Development based in rural Timor-Leste.

A live in role where I managed a boarding household of 18 female students aged 11 to 19 years old.

In this role I designed and coordinated a program of activities (cultural, social, recreational, education and spiritual) for child asylum seekers detained in immigration detention. I managed a team of four activity officers and was responsible for fulfilling all contractual obligations with the Department of Immigration.

In this role I curated and coordinated a touring statewide community art exhibition that aimed to raise awareness about climate change. The exhibition included contributions from 20 artists from the Yarra Valley and was showcased at events such as the Castlemaine Fringe Festival.
