After 8 years leading nib’s charitable arm, the nib foundation, I am excited to move into the newly created Head of Community role at nib, with dual responsibility for delivering community investment activities across the nib-Group, and continuing to lead the nib foundation. As a social impact professional with over 20 years experience driving community-business-government-research partnerships, I am committed to creating long term value for the nib-Group and the communities in which we operate. This role is responsible for delivering an integrated Group-wide approach to community investments, engaging our business, brands and people to bring to life our nib value of “making the world a better place”.Working closely with the nib foundation Board, I provide strategic leadership, manage the operational, financial and investment activities of the foundation, support the board in its governance responsibilities as a charitable entity, and set our grant-making and partnership policies and framework.

Amy manages the operation of the foundation, and in conjunction with the nib foundation board develops and executes the foundation’s strategy. Responsibilities include governance, policy development, oversight of the funds financial and investment activities, managing national and community partnerships, delivering grant programs, and creating opportunities for nib health funds staff and stakeholders to engage with the work of the foundation.nib foundation is a charitable organisation established in 2008 by nib health funds with a vision to make a positive and lasting impact on nationwide health issues. To date over $21 million in grant funding has been committed to over 100 Australian charity partners to deliver practical community based programs and to develop innovative evidence based health solutions to help Australians live healthier lives.

This role involved the establishment, promotion and delivery of the federal government’s Clean Energy Innovation Centre (CEIC) services and programs nationally. Responsibilities included grant program promotion,assessment, contracting, reporting and evaluation, providing support to CEICs national network of business advisors, and supporting the strategic and ope rational activities of the CEIC board.

As part of a small team we delivered the administrative and contract management functions of the Australian Government’s suite of regional programs for Northern NSW and QLD.
