- Researched composition pedagogy, peer-tutoring, and numerous Writing Programs and Writing Centers. - Developed Pilot to help address concerns identified during independent Summer Research project the previous summer, oriented towards suggestions for creating a Denison WA program- Recruited three professors from History, Philosophy, and English departments, whose courses varied in structure and types of writing assignments, then recruited three student WAs- Trained WAs, met regularly with different groups of participants – student WAs and professors, both together and individually – interviewed students, wrote and administered surveys; analysis of surveys included in report- Based on success of pilot, WC Director and administration implementing WA Program beginning 2014

- Worked with students to develop stronger, more effective writing and writing habits- Advised many Second-Language, Generation 2.1, and Multilingual students, primarily Asian and South American - Presented and updated series of Academic Integrity Workshops for First-Year Students - Participated in the training of new Consultants, and served on the Hiring Committee Spring 2014

Researched Course Writing Associates programs, Composition Pedagogy, Peer-tutoring, and related theories on writing instruction. Researched writing centers and writing programs at comparable colleges and universities. Developed a proposal for a pilot Course Writing Associates program at Denison.

- Independently conducted 4 class periods, focusing on editing and applying concepts through experimentation- Offered feedback on papers and collaborated with professor to develop assignments

Explored the connection between Information Technologies and conceptions of Authorship and Ownership, as connected to Intellectual Property. Focused on 1700s British Copyright Law, the writings of contemporary writers and publishers, and the effect of the Printing Press. Applied concepts and conclusions from historical analysis to formulating a statement on current discussions over Intellectual Property and the Internet.
