- Trained and became a professional mountain biker and brand ambassador (Killington Resort, Juliana/Santa Cruz Bicycles) with wins in various disciplines (enduro, downhill, cross-country). Two-time USA Cycling National Champion. Established & lead Killington Bike Park's Divas of Dirt program. Led state legislative and regulatory affairs, conducted outreach and advocacy, and provided technical assistance on behalf of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy, and Environment. Held sole responsibility for the five Mid-Atlantic states and DC, comprising nearly 20 installations (~300,000 acres) and providing over $39 billion in total economic benefit. Appointed as Secretariat lead for Army’s Chesapeake Bay Program & identified and secured over a million non-appropriated dollars to support 11 DOD installations within the Chesapeake Bay watershed prepare for a federally mandated Clean Water Act effort. Initiated and shepherded first ever MOU between DOD, NOAA, and a state to protect coastal resources. Supported Army’s Energy Initiatives Taskforce in the Mid-Atlantic region to promote and execute renewable energy projects.

Initiated and secured a first of its kind Legislative Fellowship for the 2013 General Assembly, as a Government Service/DoD detail. Served as Legislative staff on a variety of policy issues (e.g. renewable energies, transportation) and in House Committees; crafted briefing material; conducted legal research; and testified.

Advised the US Army’s Office of Regional Environmental and Government Affairs – Northern on strategic planning, policy, and programmatic efforts covering 22 states and territories. Built and led the contractor team. Planned and conducted outreach for Army's sustainability strategies including climate change-related efforts, water security, and net-zero energy initiatives at regional and national venues (e.g. National Conference of State Legislatures conferences).

Managed national and international projects and public/private partnerships. Facilitated nearly $2MM in water, sanitation, and capacity building activities in Tanzania, Nigeria, and Egypt through a collaboration between The Coca-Cola Company and USAID. Managed, facilitated, and grew a regional partnering effort, which joined over 60 organizations to address environmental and community issues.

Managed multiple environmental and public health projects from green buildings to energy efficiency to community-based environmental coalitions. Formed and maintained oversight responsibilities for multidisciplinary project teams of over 15 personnel including subcontractor, management, and support staff.

Supported and represented USEPA Administration's Office of Policy, Economics, and Innovation in promoting a sector-based approach through collaborative partnering and Environmental Management Systems use across 12 manufacturing and service sectors. Keenly involved with the American Association of Port Authorities initiative.

Within the Industrial and Marine Coatings Division, functioned as the marine coatings specialist; testing coordinator; secretary of an international standards committee; and ISO 9000 internal quality auditor. Received a series of promotions and selected by leadership to interface as technical liaison within the National Marine R&D Team.
